This role will be responsible for turning the Finance and GS Talent strategy into an actionable talent acquisition plan while leading their team through execution and world class delivery. They will lead a global team of managers who will create proactive recruiting plans and approaches to address critical talent gaps, help the organization assess and select talent to meet the business needs of today and tomorrow, and position J&J to hire top talent at all levels.
This collaborative and results focused leader will play a critical leadership role on the Talent Acquisition – Enterprise Functions Leadership Team, and partner closely with Finance and GS BUHR leaders, Total Rewards, DE&I, and business leaders to develop and deliver E2E talent acquisition results. This position will report into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition – Enterprise Functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of Talent Acquisition managers in North America, EMEA, LATAM, and ASPAC who’s local teams are responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to acquire top talent in support of the business and talent objectives for the Enterprise Functions
- Consult with senior business and HR leaders on talent requirements for current and future needs and drive an effective and efficient talent acquisition strategy in support of the business.
- Responsible for driving the end-to-end (University, Professional, Executive) TA strategy and will directly support Global Head of HR – Finance and GS
- Responsible for global direct reports and dotted line responsible for leading a global, cross-functional talent squad (i.e. Executive, University, and Sourcing) focused on driving a common purpose, goals, executing the functional TA strategy
- Develop and implement differentiated Talent Acquisition strategies for key business priorities across Finance, GS and local Enterprise Functions, spanning all candidate levels, demographics, functional disciplines, geographic regions, and business segments
- Drive the E2E talent acquisition strategy and consistently represent the TA story and metrics to HR leadership and appropriate business partners.
- Drive operational excellence throughout the recruitment lifecycle and full TA team, including data integrity, and adherence to success metrics
- Understand the business strategy, consult on the overall aligned talent strategy and be able to deliver results in accordance with agreed upon metrics and SLAs.
- Drive a strong talent assessment process and rigor across all hiring teams that ultimately delivers the best talent
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of managers responsible for all elements of recruitment
- Proactively share market and competitive intelligence to inform talent, business and organizational design decisions.
- Network with senior industry leaders and ultimately attract the highest skilled and credentialed professionals to join Johnson & Johnson
- Create and oversee a strategic sourcing strategy for the function, this includes building strong external partnerships
- Collaborate and influence other HR and functional partners, as appropriate, to ensure that J&J can attract the necessary talent for current and future roles. This includes Total Rewards, Mobility, BUHR, DE&I, Global Talent Management, and Global Services
- Maintain understanding of innovative recruitment strategies, technologies and best practices required to best serve functional talent acquisition needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 10 years of direct, relevant and recent experience in Talent Acquisition or HR is required.
- Direct and recent experience providing strategic Talent Acquisition solutions and hands on recruitment process delivery is required.
- Recent experience leveraging recruitment technologies to track and analyze TA metrics, identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting processes is required.
- Prior people management and leadership in geo-dispersed settings is required.
- Experience leading leaders is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading comprehensive, global end to end recruitment strategies to address business talent needs is required.
- Experience driving and executing talent strategies in global/shared services is preferred
- Experience in a corporate recruiting environment or search firm is required
- The ability to translate a business strategy into an actionable recruiting strategy is required
- Demonstrated proficiency and comfort leading with data and analytics is required
- Must be a creative problem solver and have the ability and desire to live simultaneously in the worlds of strategy and operations
- A global talent mindset and experience working in a highly matrixed environment is required
- Must have exceptional communication (both written and verbal), influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail is required
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills is a must
- Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills and a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments and processes are required
- This position can be located in Prague, Czech Republic or Bogota, Columbia.
- Some budget for candidates able to relocate to Prague or Bogota may be available.
- Must be willing to travel, as needed
