Posizione aperta: Contract Specialist

Location: Denmark

For one of our projects in Denmark we are looking for a Contract Specialist who reports to the Contract Manager and is responsible for the management of all contractual aspects through the preparation of contractual correspondence, the management of the subcontracts, the maintenance of relations deriving from contractual management as well as the coordination and negotiation of claims.
Main responsibilities:

Support the project management team in the administration of contracts, both with the Client and various subcontractors.
Propose to the project management team areas for improvement of the contractual clauses, in order to identify the opportunities or minimise the contractual risks of the contract.
Review of correspondence and minutes of meetings received from Client and subcontractors. Drafting of contractual correspondence and reporting of any critical issues.
Assist the Procurement Manager in the formulation of supply and sub-contracts.
Provide support to Project Administration on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work in the project.
Lead in the evaluation and validation of Contractors claims, including presentation and agreement of recommendations to the Contract Department of Client and/or the Engineer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in contract management on major road, bridge, highway and general infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of contractual relationships.
Fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
Availability to relocate.
