Main responsibilities:
- Support the project management team in the administration of contracts, both with the Client and various subcontractors.
- Propose to the project management team areas for improvement of the contractual clauses, in order to identify the opportunities or minimise the contractual risks of the contract.
- Review of correspondence and minutes of meetings received from Client and subcontractors. Drafting of contractual correspondence and reporting of any critical issues.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in the formulation of supply and sub-contracts.
- Provide support to Project Administration on all financial and contractual matters throughout the work in the project.
- Lead in the evaluation and validation of Contractors claims, including presentation and agreement of recommendations to the Contract Department of Client and/or the Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in contract management on major road, bridge, highway and general infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of contractual relationships.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Availability to relocate.
