At FOSS, we create high-tech analytical solutions for the agricultural and food industries. From our Innovation Centre in Hillerød, you will join Corporate Projects – a part of Projects & Excellence, reporting to the Head of Projects & Excellence, Jacob Flemming Rasmussen. The role will specifically take on the most key projects at FOSS.

The projects you will manage are cross-organizational and complex. As a result, they require a great deal of focus, and you will often only be managing a single project at a time.
Your projects, though not exclusively IT-related, will usually involve IT elements and will always have strategic or commercial implications throughout the organization.
Professionally executing important projects
You must be comfortable taking charge of our most critical projects. That is not an easy task. It is not enough that you have worked on projects from time to time in the past – this job requires extensive hands-on experience with project management with a proven track record of excellence in the execution of complex projects.
Managing these cross-organizational projects properly requires you to be an exceptional communicator and collaborator. You must be as comfortable talking with senior management as our operational staff or external partners as you will be interfacing with all the different departments within FOSS.
So, what is the job really like?
You will be part of a Projects & Excellence team which includes 10 colleagues, though only two of you are working on corporate projects. You take charge in showing how to complete complex projects within FOSS. You will take on projects, often with a high degree of uncertainty regarding their scope and benefit, and it will be your task to bring these projects to a state where they can be executed effectively. Following that, you will manage the project execution, creating and following up on plans, identifying and managing risks and finding and proposing solutions to possible project challenges.
You will be seen as an expert on project management and will also spend part of your time sparring with and guiding some of the less experienced project managers an Excellence functions in FOSS.

Our expectations of you
Project management is at the core of your career, and this role demands a high level of expertise. While your specific education and industry background are less important to us, your abilities and experience are critical.
As such, we expect that you:

• Have at least 3 years of full-time experience as a project manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
• Are experienced in working across organizational boundaries, coordinating efforts, and managing stakeholder expectations and desires
• Have demonstrated skills in project scope, time, and cost management, as well as effective risk management, including identification and mitigation
• Are adept at developing and establishing value estimates, particularly during initial critical project stages
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, ensuring you can articulate project status and outcomes clearly
• Have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Are adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
