We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SVP Health & Safety (H&S) Partner to support the overall SVP area in H&S matters. This pivotal role will ensure continuous improvements on significant health and safety aspects, aligning with Novo Nordisk and DD&IT strategic direction, ambition, and targets within H&S.

The position

As our Health & Safety Partner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and secure work environment for our employees. Your expertise will provide critical support and guidance on all health and safety matters across the SVP area while driving the cross-organizational H&S representatives’ network. Additionally, you will be instrumental in implementing continuous improvements in health and safety practices, supporting the strategic direction and ambitions of NN and DD&IT.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

Align with DD&IT P&O Business Partnering on psycho-social and management review processes, including the Evolve and psycho-social and physical WPA programs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.

Monitor and evaluate health and safety performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards in a Digital, Data, and IT context.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Extensive experience in health and safety management, preferably with having stakeholders at a senior executive level.

Experience working within a big matrix organization, in a global role.

Proven track record of implementing successful health and safety initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

Strong understanding of psycho-social and management review processes.

As a person, you are characterized by excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Your talent lies in effectively collaborating with diverse teams and influencing at all levels of the organization. As well, you are fluent in both spoken and written English.

About the Department

You will be reporting to the Head of DD&IT P&O Business Partnering and be part of a dedicated department supporting DD&IT to succeed with the vision of being a proactive, trusted Tech leader providing business value through innovation and new digital solutions. You will support our modern way of working, as well as help drive a learning culture in the organisation through various cross-area initiatives. The job is located at our headquarter in Ballerup, where you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment.
