About the opportunity
You will work in the Business Finance & Analytics team consisting of 12 passionate professionals with skillsets covering e.g. Commercial Planning, Strategic Finance incl. M&A, BI and Data Science. You will be working out of our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark. Ambu is a company with ambitious growth targets. We develop, manufacture, and sell medical devices. Millions of patients and healthcare professionals worldwide depend on the functionality and performance of our innovative products.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be:

• Creating financial models and using Excel functions to interpret data
• Conducting strategic analysis in both Excel and Power Point, as well as performing data analysis
• Prepareing analysis and decision material, as well as recommendations to the Business Finance team
• Provide support with ad-hoc analysis across various Finance projects
  
  

We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week corresponding to 2 or 3 days a week. We are of course flexible in exam periods and during the summer holiday.

Preferably you are studying in the area of economics, business economics, finance, or strategy. We expect that you have an academic background in relevant fields, and it is important that you are proactive and like to take ownership of tasks.

In the position as an Business Finance student you will refer to the Strategic Finance & Projects, Director, Nicolai Thomsen.

Commercial mindset and able to handle data in Excel
You need to have a commercial mindset. You must be energetic and have a toolbox of analytical and strategic skills to be successful in the job. It is important that you have a structured and systematic approach to your tasks. It is crucial that you have good oral and writing skills in both Danish and English as most material will be made in English. You also need to have good Power Point and Excel skills as you will work with numbers in Excel and prepare presentations in Power Point to the leaders within the Business Finance team.
