Job Purpose:
Develop and manage cost accounting systems to provide accurate costing information, oversee inventory management, validate costs, and support strategic decisions with reliable financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Update standard costs and validate costs of goods sold.
- Allocate overhead costs and manage obsolete inventory.
- Analyze business data and evaluate the cost impacts of changes.
- Compare actual manufacturing costs with standard costs and prepare reports highlighting variances.
- Conduct cost audits and identify discrepancies between standard and actual costs.
- Prepare and review cost reports, including variance reports and break-even analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cost Accounting or General Accounting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent in both Arabic and English
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of accounting cycles and financial reporting
- Expertise in Accounts Payable processes
Location: Preferably based in Maadi or nearby.
