Supervise all operations related to the management of our properties, including maintenance, leasing, budgeting, and tenant relations
Develop and implement property management plans to achieve and maintain high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction
Oversee the leasing process, including marketing available units, screening prospective tenants, and negotiating lease agreements
Maintain a thorough understanding of local market conditions and rental trends to inform pricing and marketing strategies
Ensure that all properties meet compliance standards and adhere to local regulations and laws
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and oversee maintenance and repair projects
Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
Develop plans that minimize incidents or reverse any negative trends.
Ensure the property is properly prepared for emergencies through leadership of the Emergency Preparedness Committee and implementation of effective drills.
Lead efforts in managing all local crisis situations, including establishing a remediation plan consistent with Company policies and procedures, engaging the right authorities and resources and communicating plans.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial property management.
Strong knowledge of property management software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPM, RPA) preferred.
