Position Reports To

Project Background:
EGA is a five-year activity (2020-2025) funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the bilateral agreement between the Government of Egypt (Go E) and the United States. This project, which is implemented by DAI Global LLC, supports the investment climate in Egypt through enhancing economic governance, and promoting administrative and institutional development in line with Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS) 2030, National Anti-Corruption Strategy, and the Administrative Reform Vision of Egypt. In doing so, the project supports the efforts of the Go E to enhance the quality of public administration through adopting more inclusive and efficient tools that ensure the needs and priorities of citizens, and the private sector are reflected, thus promoting a positive investment climate in Egypt.
Key Tasks
The Public Administration Analyst will perform the following tasks in his/her area of assignment:
§ Attend, prepare for, and support the implementation of events with counterparts (workshops, conferences, webinars, sessions).
§ Support in producing, technically reviewing, proofreading, and suggesting amendments to different material such as: training material, and Power Point presentations in both languages’ English and Arabic.
§ Conduct research in the field of management and public administration as requested.
§ Prepare scopes of work, Power Point presentations, and memos as requested.
§ Review of translated documents from/to English/ Arabic at level of excellence.
§ Support the drafting of different project documents including concept notes, reports, policy briefs, and action plans.
§ Collect data needed for the implementation of activities.
§ Remain regularly updated on the status of management and public administration in Egypt.
§ Perform any additional relevant tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required, in political science, economics, public administration, international development, or any related field.
· At least 3 years of experience.
· Excellent Word Processing and Power Point Presentation preparation skills.
· Present a positive spirit, strong sense of cooperation and is a team player.
· Strong communication skills - both written and oral – in English and Arabic.
· High organizational and time-management skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
