We seek a Key User Community Manager to join our Logistics Excellence team. You will be responsible for engaging with key users in our logistics operations teams to ensure they have timely and accurate solutions to help them solve operational problems and escalate complex issues for support by Process or Product Managers when needed.
In this role, you will report to Director, Logistics Excellence.
The team you belong to
You will join a team of Process Owners and Product Managers dedicated to managing and improving the Global Logistics Operations areas and its systems and tools environment. Together with your team and stakeholders, you will also cooperate to identify opportunities to enhance our supply chain capabilities through process development and tool modifications. As a community manager, you would also collect and advocate for the voice of operations in cross-functional Agile teams to contribute process knowledge to system and digital solution developments. You will also be able to contribute to the global ERP program in Metso and be part of the work to create our future ERP. Our team culture is all about finding solutions and continuous improvement - together.
We work closely with internal stakeholders, such as Global logistics teams. Our team members are currently located in Finland, Sweden, Lithuania, Australia, India, and the USA.
What you'll do
- Serve as the first point of contact for key-users' operational queries and issues
- Provide timely and accurate solutions to operational problems within the designated functional area
- Escalate complex issues to Process Owners or IT teams when necessary
- Act as a bridge between key users and Process Owners, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of issues
- Relay key-user feedback and operational challenges to the Process Owners and Product Owner team for continuous improvement
- Develop and deliver training sessions for key users on system functionalities and best practices
- Create and update training materials and user documentation to assist key users in their daily tasks
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on key-user feedback and operational challenges
- Maintain detailed records of operational issues, solutions provided, and any recurring problems
- Generate regular reports on key-user queries and support activities to provide insights to the Process Owners and Product Owner team
- Participate in system testing and validation activities to ensure new functionalities meet user needs
- Provide support during system upgrades, including user testing and post-implementation support
Who you are
- You have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the applicable industry, such as logistics, software development, community management, or consulting.
- You have a University degree in a related field
- Proven development track record with excellent skills in creating technical and business documentation.
- Previous experience in logistics, procurement, or operative purchasing is a definite asset
- Facilitation, change management, and Agile methodology skills and experience are considered an asset
- You have a system-thinking and continuous improvement mindset and excellent organizational and analytical skills
- You can turn feedback into steps of improvement
- You can develop action plans and roadmaps with a solid drive to complete tasks and projects
- You have strong communication skills in English, and you are not afraid to partner with people at all levels
