Introduction
We are seeking a Marketing lead to join our Global Group Marketing team. You will be responsible for shaping the marketing strategy for our digital solutions and driving its implementation, which involves working with digital product owners, global marketing and communications teams from the Business and Market Areas. Your role plays a crucial part in our Go-to-market approach, which will contribute to the successful commercialization of our digital portfolio. In this position, you will report to the VP, Group Marketing and dotted line to VP, Digital Strategy and Transformation in the Minerals segment.
This position is mainly located in Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. The role may involve some occasional travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a global team of marketing professionals dedicated to positioning Metso as Tier-1 end-to-end solution provider by creating awareness, generating demand and driving sales through our digital footprint. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enable synergistic growth. Our team culture is all about delivering tangible results through collaboration. The members in our team are in various locations across the globe.
What you’ll do
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for Digital solutions within the Minerals segment.
Create strategically important messaging, concepts, and content, and implement them in cooperation with global marketing teams.
Design go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and product launches in close cooperation with global, Business Area, and Market Area marketing teams.
Synchronize portfolio positioning and co-shape messaging towards customers.
Harmonize and create content for sales and marketing materials for various marketing channels together with global, Business Area, and Market Area marketing teams.
Support global events and speaker opportunities with content.
Collaborate with digital product owners, regional Business, and Corporate Communications and Marketing teams globally to ensure messaging, campaigns, and priorities are aligned.
Support customer and stakeholder communications together with Corporate Communications and Market Areas.
Who you are
Senior level / Leadership experience in B2B marketing in international matrix organization
Solid working experience in multiple functional areas, e.g. campaign planning, content production, or digital marketing.
Solid business understanding and ability to synthesize customer benefits for technical products
Ability to be both strategic and tactical. Able to see the big picture, plan and organize effectively, keep track on multiple moving parts and prioritize.
Highly developed and mature influential negotiation, communication, and presentation skills at all levels in the organization including executive level
Influencing and leading change, good managerial and leadership skills
Full working proficiency in English
Industry knowledge is preferred but not a must
Salesforce and Marketing Cloud knowledge is an advantage
