Customer Solution Office Manager and System Integrator Support Center Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in an international environment with sales, product management, product development and other stakeholders. You will showcase your expertise in acquiring the relevant inputs for the user requirements, corrections and enhancements of dimensioning functionalities. Each day, you will be working on an integrated CPQ (Configure Price Quote) tool solution which automatically selects, sizes and dimensions our low voltage AC drives in the System Drives division in Motion business. You will be a part of the customer solution office and system integrator support center. You will cooperate closely with the partner and sales tools organization, R&D, sales support and local sales units and other relevant stakeholders. You will also be a part of global sales tools development and product modeling community spread across the ABB Motion business, System Drives division and align with system design experts of other Motion business, System Drives product groups and Motion business – Drive Products division. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business, System Drives division in Helsinki, Finland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining, maintaining, improving and establishing of design rules to determine optimal technical solution with available product portfolio to be offered • Building and owning the knowledge domain to offer best matching solutions including the physical load with the motor characteristics, finding a capable drive and specification of the supply side • Designing the selection, sizing and dimensioning rules, defining the system performance calculation algorithms and tool functionalities with required user stories to dimension the low voltage AC drives • Ensuring documentation and dimensioning rules are aligned and up-to-date • Securing the implementation of dimensioning rules gets properly tested and released by the development team • Understanding increasingly better the system design dilemma from market/customer aspect and from how to sell/deliver perspective • Closely aligning with the product responsible persons and make sure what we sell is well structured, simple to understand and aligned with order delivery and manufacturing configuration • Participating in improving the management process for dimensioning concepts: how changes are coordinated, how documentation and business entities are updated, how implementations are updated, tested and released You will join a talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with drives or applications in drive related industries is essential
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in designing, sizing and dimensioning industrial low voltage AC drives is essential
• Background in process and application development is considered as a plus
• Experience in CPQ (Configure Price Quote) field is considered as a plus
• Affinity for IT applications and experience in object-oriented programming would be beneficial
• You are ambitious to learn, a passionate team player and possess a positive can-do attitude
• Established skills in working in multi-disciplinary, agile teams are essential
• You are at ease in communicating in English
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical, automation or electrical power system engineering or equivalent is a must
