Working Student (m/f/d) Strategic Purchasing

As a working student (m/f/d) in Strategic Purchasing at SGB-SMIT in the Supply Chain department, you will support the team with various tasks:

• Support in purchasing controlling, including tracking of costs, delivery and quality performance
  
• Preparation of supplier negotiations, including clarification of requirements with our international locations, as well as support with offer evaluation, supplier analysis and communication
  
• Supporting national and international negotiations and assisting with the drafting of contracts
  
Support in cross-functional cost-saving projects in cooperation with contact persons from the engineering, quality, production and sales departments

Your profile:

• Successfully completed training as a business economist or ideally as a specialist in insurance and finance or comparable qualification
  
• Initial experience in the field of corporate insurance in an industrial or commercial environment desirable
  
• Confident handling of MS Office and good SAP knowledge an advantage
  
• Strong self-organized and communicative way of working paired with a high level of quality awareness
  
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
