ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a Greek fast growing Pharmaceutical company is looking for a driven Accountant .

Accountant (Ref. 5642/ACC/ESS/GR)

An excellent opportunity to join the team of a fast-growing Pharmaceutical company, with opportunities to upskill and expand capabilities.

Main Accountabilities:
Contributes to the preparation of the company's financial statements (Greek GAAP).

Processes invoices, daily transactions, and expenses.

Manages payments, billing, and ordering processes.

Handles day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

Assists in month and year-end closing activities, such as accounts reconciliations, and resolves any accounting discrepancies or irregularities.

Maintains robust financial data to ensure compliance and submission of tax filings for corporate tax and VAT.

Monitors My Data requirements and performs relevant actions through accounting software and AADE.

Candidate Profile:
3-5 years of experience in a relevant position; experience in the Pharmaceutical sector is a plus but not mandatory.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. MBA or MSc in Accounting/Finance is a plus.

Hands-on experience with Greek GAAP and tax issues.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems (Softone).

Proficient in English.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Organized, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
