General Manager (Ref. 5701/GM/ESS/GR)

Profile:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of the company’s operations, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives and driving overall business performance. This executive will be tasked with optimizing processes, managing resources effectively and leading a diverse team of employees and external partners to deliver operational excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to implement the company’s strategic vision and ensure it aligns with organizational goals, promoting continuous growth and operational success.

Oversee and enhance day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, productivity and adherence to industry best practices.

Ensure full compliance with local, national and international regulations, while maintaining necessary certifications and accreditations.

Collaborate with the finance team to monitor budgets, enforce cost management strategies and achieve financial performance targets.

Lead initiatives to improve operational processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective and yield high-quality results.

Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, promoting employee development, engagement and retention.

Serve as a key representative of the company, ensuring a strong reputation is upheld with stakeholders, partners and regulatory bodies.

Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is desired.

Minimum of 8 years in a senior leadership position, within multinational organizations. Technical and commercial operations experience is essential.

Demonstrated success working with Boards and senior management teams, with exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of business operations, coupled with a capacity to quickly adapt to new technologies and approaches.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities, enabling effective team management and stakeholder engagement.

Strong analytical skills for overcoming operational challenges and formulating long-term strategies.

Proven track record in developing executive teams, setting clear objectives and delivering actionable feedback.

High integrity and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and acting consistently in line with company values.
