About the role
There is currently a job opening “Help Desk Agent” in the Department of Help Desk. As a Help Desk Agent, you will report to Help Desk Lead and will be responsible to process day to day actions, being the key point of contact for the travel trade community. If you are passionate about tourism and about providing guidance for matters, regarding reservations, ticketing and special inquires, this role is for you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist and guide the travel agency community according to company’s procedures and policy via telephone, e-mail & online to enforce the relevant sales teams of Aegean/Olympic.
- Provide info and services that cannot be accomplished through Global Distribution System (GDS), Aegean Hub & Distribution Platform Channel (F1) or other publicly accessible sources of information.
- Report to the relevant departments, the Distribution Platform Channel (F1) errors and provide troubleshooting solutions.
- Perform involuntary reissues that according to company’s policy are not allowed to be processed by travel agents.
- Perform voluntary/involuntary refunds for travel agencies special agreements.
You fit, if you cover the following requirements:
- BSc in Tourism management or related field
- Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Amadeus Altea or/and any other Global Distribution System (GDS) will be considered an asset
- Accomplished IATA ticketing course will be considered an asset
And you have competence in:
- Building long-lasting relationships with team members and partners
- Resolving issues with a customer-focused oreintation

- Working under pressure, managing changing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Committing strongly to guidelines and procedures
