Logistics Systems Specialist (Ref. 5746/LSS/ESS/GR)
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven young professional to further develop his/her career in a dynamic role with high career prospects as a member of the Group’s Logistics Department. The Logistics Systems Specialist will be situated in the Group’s Head offices and be responsible for implementing, managing and optimizing logistics systems to ensure efficient operations through digitalization. This includes maintaining software systems, providing support and training to users and developing analytical reports to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as change agent in the transformation of the logistics operations to the digital era
- Key User in all company’s logistics systems and responsible for further development of the systems
- Analyse & resolve problems in the logistics systems, in a sustainable way, preventing recurrence in the future
- Provide training and support to end users
- Develop and update the documentation of training, users training & daily support
- Suggest and implement operations optimization
- Initiate and coordinate logistics projects to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
Qualifications:
- University Degree ideally in Engineering, or alternatively in Supply Chain / Logistics Management or Business Administration
- Masters Degree in a relevant field is an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations, within an organized industrial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Greek and English
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP working knowledge & experience or other ERP systems
- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
- Embracing & leading change mentality
- Adaptability to different stakeholders’ groups
- Project Management skills
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel, set priorities and make quick decisions
