ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, a leading European IT solutions provider , is seeking for a Network Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team.

Network Engineer (5683/NE/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain all network related equipment in all sites and respond to alerts and outages.

Design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.

Establish network environments by getting involved in: designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards

Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

Upgrade data and voice network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.

The configuration of routing, switching and load balancing devices.

The configuration of hosted IP voice services.

Implementing and coordinating housekeeping

Updating network documents & network designs

Requirements:
University or College Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Systems or relevant technology-related field

3+ years of prior experience in Network Engineering

CCNA or CCNP certification

Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools and understanding of VMWare

Experience with Vo IP technologies, Linux and Windows OS, Server systems (IBM, HP, DELL, Cisco) and Networking (Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Citrix)

Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools

Fluency in English language (both oral and written skills)
