Supply Chain and Logistics Director (5685/SCLD/ESS/GR)

The Supply Chain and Logistics Director will play a pivotal role in optimizing logistics operations, and the supply chain growth, contributing to the overall success of the organization This role is essential in driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence across all operations:

Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain and logistics strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

Team Management : Lead and mentor the supply chain and logistics team to ensure high performance and accountability.

Logistics Operations : Oversee the management of our nationwide storage facilities.

Transportation Management : Oversee the coordination and optimization of transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries across a vast network of delivery points.

Procurement : Manage the procurement function with a strong focus on building and maintaining robust inventory levels. Oversee supplier relationship management, negotiation, and contract management, leveraging extensive experience to ensure the procurement process is efficient and aligned with business needs.

Supply Chain Planning : Lead the planning function to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and meet production demands, while also developing and executing a planning strategy that optimizes production floor organization and efficiency.

Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain and logistics functions, leveraging technology and best practices.

Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and achieve overall business goals.

Compliance : Ensure all supply chain and logistics activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within an industrial organization.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic supply chain and logistics plans.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Extensive experience in logistics/supply chain within an industrial setting is essential.

Expertise in implementing and leveraging automation and robotics to enhance efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations.

Competency in ERP systems for effective logistics and supply chain management.

Ability to introduce innovative ideas, apply industry best practices, and continuously improve logistics operations.

Fluency in Greek and English is required.
