System Administrator (Thessaloniki) (Client Services) (PRCSSA1024)

PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece, is currently handling a System Administrator role on behalf of our client, a leading company in the field of mechanical constructions. We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join their dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional IT support.

The responsibilities of the position mostly include:
  • Design, implement, and maintain system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components.
  • Provide day-to-day system administration support, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems promptly.
  • Manage and optimize cloud-based systems, primarily within the Azure environment.
  • Configure and manage network infrastructure, including LAN and WAN environments.
  • Monitor system performance and health using Grafana and PRTG.
  • Manage MS365, Domains and Entra ID.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes, utilizing Azure Backup, One Drive, Veeam, and Data Domain.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services and technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Dev Ops principles and practices.
  • Network infrastructure knowledge, including CCNA certification.
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems and VMware virtualization.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and PRTG.
  • Familiarity with MS365 Domain Entra ID, Azure Backup, One Drive, Veeam, and Data Domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
