Assistant Planning & Control Officer (Ref: 240001CI)

Responsibilities

• Support the production of long and short term maintenance programmes and reminders of rolling stock and depot equipment
• Engage in the production, issuance of maintenance schedules and reminders to maintainers, participate in the development, implementation and enhancement of various management information systems
• Participate in new asset registration and hierarchy setup and maintain maintenance scheduling rules in connection with various new railway extension projects
• Coordinate system checking for the amendment of data entry into the information system and audit the correct use of coding system to ensure data accuracy
• Update the maintenance material requirement for facilitating electronic store issue and budgeting
• Attend meetings relating to possession work in particular for depot track possession to ensure smooth depot operation and depot work procession
• Support system changeover of new Enterprise Asset Management System to improve the planning functionality and efficiency, as well as participate in Smart Train Planning mileage control system to optimize train overhaul scheduling

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Engineering discipline / Computer Studies or a related discipline
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be at supervisory level
• Self-motivated with proactive attitude and ability to work independently
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of Asset Information System such as Rail ASSURE, AMCM, TRS, and STP is an advantage

Remarks

• Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
