Requirements: Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (a doctorate would be an added advantage) with 2 years’ teaching experience, preferably at tertiary level and with experience in course development/administration. Ability to collaborate with a team is essential. Candidates must be proficient in English. Those with interdisciplinary backgrounds will be an added advantage.
Candidates with less qualifications or experience will be considered for the grade of College Assistant Lecturer.
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
