Accounting Executive in the Finance Unit

- To perform daily accounting and finance routines such as payments, purchase orders and journal entries;
- To prepare schedules for forecasts and 3-year financial plan;
- To assist in audit field works including control tests, audit schedules and enquiries;
- To undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisors and team leader.
Requirements: Candidates should obtain Level 2/Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience, preferably in accounting, auditing and/or banking. Holders of Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines an advantage. Previous hands-on experience in Oracle financial systems or SAP preferable. He/She should be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications. Good in both oral and written English and Chinese, and has the ability to work well under tight deadlines.
(Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Accounting Assistant)
Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Medical and dental benefits, 18 days’ annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable. The School also provides staff development opportunities.
