Internal Audit Specialist

- Support the Internal Audit Manager in conducting comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Perform detailed testing of financial, operational, and compliance processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing and risk management.
- Assist in special projects and investigations as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or related fields.
- Understanding of internal control concepts and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and identify areas of improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with audit software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
