Duties
Main duties include:- Develop and manage partnerships within the start-up ecosystem in the territory and beyond;
- Lead and synergise start-up events and competitions to increase programme exposure and attract innovative start-ups and entrepreneurs;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance support services for start-ups;
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing with other incubation programmes;
- Liaise with co-investors and facilitate the investment process for HK Tech 300 teams;
- Represent City UHK professionally at relevant events and conferences to promote the start-up ecosystem; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 10 years’ relevant work experience;
- Competence in strategic thinking and planning with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent business development and networking skills;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for supporting start-ups;
- Experience in working at academic or corporate institutions would be an advantage; and
- Demonstrated experience in starting and managing start-up ecosystem partnerships, and experience in working with technology-based entrepreneurs, start-ups and investors is preferred.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.Information and Application
