Manager, IT

Responsibilities
- Determine, plan, develop and manage IT cloud infrastructure strategy to ensure the cloud strategy, policies, and standards are always aligned with the overall architecture standards and meet performance, security, data integrity, availability, reliability and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IT / business requirements and across multiple cloud service providers/ vendors to develop cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Lead Infrastructure Cloud team accountable for architecting, deploying, and working closely with various IT users and business units to support different cloud initiatives and cloud application deployments. Build the cloud capability to support the cloud solutions deployment.
- Oversee cloud standards, technology plan, guidelines and govern cloud solutions, usage, and adoption across multiple cloud service providers to ensure efficient, secure, compliant that align with the organization's strategic objectives. Facilitate the effective use for delivery teams and provide recommendation to resolve technology issues so as to mitigate non-compliance issues.
- Manage daily cloud operations, including regular maintenance, alerts, change and crisis management so as to ensure timely respond to operational incidents, reduce resolution time and enhance operational systems availability.
- Keep monitoring and analyzing cloud usage and performance to ensure that the designed cloud infrastructure meets the capabilities required to deliver business cloud solutions for AA and to enrich cost-effective cloud operation. Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure assets, resource utilization and perform capacity planning for current and predicted workloads to identify opportunities for optimization, cost savings and continuous improvement.
- Plan and develop cloud decision framework, cloud reference architecture and governance policy.
- Regularly conduct cloud sovereignty risks assessment, develop and update backup plan and exit strategy to ensure the readiness of cloud infrastructure platform to airport business strategy, aviation industry needs and minimize external vulnerability such as enhance control over crucial assets amid growing geopolitical tensions, evolving data privacy regulations and the dominance of specific cloud providers
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of experience of managing Cloud Infrastructure and solution maintenance works or projects
- Proven expertise with major cloud service providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali Cloud)
- Solid experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT/cloud infrastructure solutions
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection methodologies
- Experience in IT infrastructure architecture
- Certifications in relevant cloud platforms and/or TOGAF are highly desirable
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferred
