We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Investment and Insurance Sales Surveillance - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Compl Bus Control Intmd Analyst – C11) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

The Compl Bus Control Intmd Anlyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

• Perform end-to-end investigation on Sales Practice Complaints and self-escalated potential sales practice cases including the investigation report.
  
• Work with relevant stakeholders i.e., Respective product team, Compliance, Branch Operation, Legal to ensure a thorough investigation is conducted and different aspects are covered.
  
• Update the Investigation result in Sales Complaint Handling Meeting (SCHM) or relevant forum and meeting.
  
• Work with Client Resolution to provide the investigation result to clients and/or Regulators and assist on any subsequent enquiry from Regulators or further investigate on new allegation / evidence that is provided by Client.
  
• Work with Internal Investigation Unit and related teams on conducting investigations on severe staff mis-conduct issues / incidents / complaints i.e., Fraud.
  
• Assist the Sales Conduct Risk Manager to perform data analytic and prepare MIS to be reported in various Governance Meetings the risk and control issues, Sales practice concerns.
  
• Support the IPB In-Unit control manager to coordinate and host the IPB control meeting to ensure update and action from Privacy Law and Cross-border activity policy (CBAP) changes are cascade, discuss and implement properly and timely.
  
• Support the IPB In-unit control manager to roll out the new CBAP including the staff training and attestation.
  
• Oversight the IPB sales surveillance, especially China focus and WMC 2.0 program to ensure CHKL comply with rules and regulation conscientiously.
  
• Support update of parameters in Dynamic Rules Engine (DRE) for Cross Border Activity rules changes.
  
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  
• 2-5 years of relevant Wealth control experience including but not limit to sales surveillance, call monitoring, complaints investigation
  
• High attention to detail and quality
  
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Effective planning and organizational skills
  
• Proven ability to make sound business decisions
  
• Experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
  
• Ability to present a compelling case for ideas and initiatives through listening and articulating a convincing point of view
