Overview:
Currently this bank is looking for an Senior Officer to join this Trade Service team focusing on Export LC checking. This is a fantastic chance to join the team on a renewable 1-year contract and make a real impact!
As an Export LC Checker, you will be responsible for verifying export documentation and ensuring compliance with UCP 600, ICC rules, and company regulations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of export checking processes.

What You'll Do:

• Review and verify export documentation including letters of credit, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin

• Ensure compliance with UCP 600, ICC rules, and company policies

• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address discrepancies and resolve issues

• Provide accurate and timely feedback to exporters and internal departments

• Perform final checks on export documents before submission to banks or relevant authorities

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in export checking or related field

• In-depth knowledge of UCP 600, ICC rules, and export documentation requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and errors

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
