Planning and Control Officer (Ref.: 240001FO)

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing overall implementation programmes of the engineering works, managing control and implementing initiatives in rendering the delivery of output to meet project requirements
• Provide quality control in job planning through daily monitoring and scheduled health checks
• Monitor and control the implementation programme of the engineering works with close liaison with project engineers and supervisors
• Assist in preparation of report for management review
• Coordinate engineering works budget, manpower budget and monitor budget variance
• Support the development and enhancement for Enterprise Asset Management System and Engineering Works & Traffic Information Management System

Requirements

• Higher diploma / Higher certificate in Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
• Knowledge of railway safety rules and related statutory requirements is an advantage
• Able to work independently and under pressure with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Well-versed with various software applications such as Excel, Power Point and Access, preferably with versatility in various management information systems

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
