JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for the analysis of revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory.
- Prepares analysis of progress to budget, projections, and forecasts.
- Accountable for implementation of sales strategy action plan and critiques of sales strategy effectiveness.
- Utilizes analytical tools and systems toward the goal of maximizing total hotel revenue and profit.
- Serve as a demand expert to the person performing the Business Evaluation and Inventory Management functions.
- Ensures that all rates, packages, e Channels and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel’s inventory systems.
- Making Decisions and Solving Problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problem.
- Prepare and lead the weekly Sales Strategy Meeting for 1-2 hotels.
- Graduate degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, And
- 4-year related experience in Hotel or any Revenue Management is preferred.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, as well as maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in reservation system.
- Prepares the sales strategy meetings with critiques, findings and recommendations and ensure discussed strategies and action plan are effectively implemented
- Exploring Business Opportunities - Exploring opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenging existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.
- Prepare monthly forecast and annual budget for room and catering.
- Perform/Supervise rate loading tasks in a timely manner to ensure offers are available for customers to book via hotel’s website or third-party channels and ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
- Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and critique and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.
- Accurately generate, process and update Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs for the Management team.
- Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, managing hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks.
- Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
