The 440-room Novotel Citygate Hong Kong is located in the center of Tung Chung on Lantau Island. It is a few minutes drive from Hong Kong International Airport, with close proximity to Hong Kong Disneyland, Asia World-Expo and Ngong Ping 360. Connected to both hotels is Citygate Outlet Mall, a shopping and entertainment complex and only a few minutes walk to Tung Chung MTR Station.

Responsibilities:
To assist in drawing up the sales & marketing plan annually with the Director of Sales and Marketing.

To keep a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.

Organize regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.

Prepare a tentative monthly schedule to record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.

Present a summary of guest visits to the Director of Sales & Marketing on a weekly basis i.e. Weekly Sales Plan

Communicate and build up a good linkage between both guest and internall operating departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.

Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be).

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience at supervisory level

A strong understanding of overall hotel business

Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches

Must have the ability to understand local markets that affect the business of the hotel

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to train and develop new team members

Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
