Artificial Intelligence and Digital Competency Education Centre

The appointee will be responsible for providing research support for an artificial intelligence (AI)
literacy project. Duties include conducting literature review on AI literacy, developing and validating
research instruments; conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis; writing academic papers
and reports on AI literacy; reviewing the learning and teaching resources on AI literacy developed by
the project team; as well as performing other duties assigned by the project principal investigator.
The appointment will be for a period of around 12 months.

Applicants should have a Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science, Psychology, Education,
Computer Science, Information Technology, Language or related disciplines; plus one-year post
Master’s Degree full-time working experience, or a Doctoral Degree.

Applicants should have an excellent command of written English and Chinese, proficiency in spoken
Cantonese, high capability of conducting statistical analysis, and writing reports/ papers
independently. A sound background in statistics and experience in using statistical packages such as
SPSS or MPlus is expected. They should be self-motivated and able to work as a team member.



Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end
