The Global Engagement and Communications Office is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to support and drive operational excellence, helping to build the brand and serve as a touchpoint within the University, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the service counter and collaborate with team to provide customer services for both internal and external customers.
• Create and manage the staff roster efficiently.
• Supervise shop display arrangements to enhance visual appeal and ensure new products are prominently shown with product information.
• Support online business operations by supervising orders packing, verifying product details, updating content, and managing product photos.
• Manage stock inventory, including stock check, stock transfers with systems update, warehouse maintenance, and annual stocktaking.
• Assist in new product sourcing and maintain stock replenishment.
• Coordinate shop promotions, including seasonal, festive, product promotions, and University events.
• Any duties as assigned by Shop Manager in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For:

• Higher Diploma or above and should have 5+ years store management experience in retail sales and e-commerce.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, result-oriented, highly organized, efficient and works well in a team environment.
• Responsible, self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Able to follow design guidelines including brand guidelines, website guidelines, and digital display guidelines.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in sourcing and fulfilment, including the ability to source and locate, negotiate and attention to details, buying terms and conditions, logistics arrangement, warehouse management, stock management and oversee promotion projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and After Effects; additional skills are a plus.
• Stay updated on souvenir trends and best practices in channels or logistics arrangements
• Knowledge of photography and video editing would be an absolute advantage
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Shop Assistant position

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
