Our client is a leading international investment bank and financial services company where we are running Software Development engagements. As a C++ developer you will have the ability to drive the future of the system that makes the calculation possible of thousands of commodities trades each day.
You will:
- Work together with quants to develop, integrate and test new models that enable the Commodities business to grow
- Collaborate in the replacement of old bits with modern libraries and techniques
- Migrate models from legacy systems to our main pricing engine
- Gain commodities pricing related technical and business knowledge – to design future changes
- Create tools for more efficient diagnosis of disruptions – for developers and operations
- Proficient C++ 11/14/17 development skills using the standard library, OOP techniques, template metaprogramming, policy-based design, unit testing
- Experience with Python and shell scripts to automate tedious, repetitive tasks
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- (Optionally) Some experience with Java 8+
- Fluent English knowledge
