Process Engineering Packaging Manager

• Partner Management and Networking
• Be the primary contact for the regions/division for all customer and sales questions related to packaging specifications and act as subject matter expert.
• Coordinate packaging validation activities and confirm packaging qualification documents with project teams.
• Network with the team of Packaging Engineers, Process Engineering, Procurement, EH&S, Quality and Supply chain teams.
• Support regional teams for the evaluation and selection of packaging vendors and periodically conduct vendor reviews.

• Address and report regulatory exposures (Dangerous Goods, Food Contact Materials, …) and ensure all packaging material meet safety and quality standards in consideration of legal, country requirements and business demands.
• Support Operations and Quality teams on issues related to packaging materials, packing equipment to determine best-fit resolutions and dedicated customer issue management for packaging.
• Solve Packaging and Labeling issues.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of the technical data linked to the packaging materials in the system and that the pertaining documents are stored in the Global Packaging Repository.

• Help implement alternative packaging options and new materials following our strategy on Plastic Circularity to meet our 2030 targets on reducing single-use plastics.
• Support packaging optimization projects

• Education in Packaging Engineering, with 1-2 year's of industrial packaging experience
• Knowledge in Packaging related regulations (dangerous goods transport, food contact)
• Good network to associations, regulatory bodies and industry
