Key Responsibilities:

Research:
Develop and sustain an innovative and externally funded research program in pharmacology.
Publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students within and outside the department.
Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research activities.
Teaching:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in pharmacology and related subjects.
Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams.
Employ effective teaching strategies and innovative methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
Provide academic advising and support to students.
Service:
Contribute to departmental and institutional service, including committee work and faculty governance.
Participate in professional organizations and academic conferences.
Engage in outreach activities that promote the department and institution.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stay current with advances in the field of pharmacology.
Seek and secure external funding through grants and other sources.
Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

MBBS, MS/MD, DNB a closely related field.
A strong record of research accomplishments and publications.
