What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to continue the innovation, evolution and improvement of our infrastructure for our development, testing and production workloads. The ideal candidate would have a firm grasp on emerging technologies and will have expertise in design, implementation, and management of hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of private cloud infrastructure platforms in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Manage a team of engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for infrastructure platforms.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all infrastructure systems and processes.
• Develop and document technical requirements and solutions in alignment with the general summary.
• Collaborate and integrate with engineering services and platforms to ensure complete delivery of solutions.
• Partner with teams across critical Platforms, End Users, Networks, Security, and other technology partners to drive strategy and delivery for efficient use of hosting platforms in alignment with the top responsibilities.
• Own end-to-end private cloud platform lifecycle activities including technical vision, strategy, prioritization, delivery and performance management in alignment with the top responsibilities.
• Develop and implement infrastructure cost optimization strategies to maintain cost efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Using Agile methodology, effectively manages backlog and sprint execution schedule to accelerate business outcomes using Dev Sec Ops in alignment with the top responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in hybrid cloud infrastructure management and exposure to virtualization, Containerization, software defines networking and storage technologies.
• Hands-on, deep technical understanding and experience in Private Cloud deployment (Open Shift / Kubevirt / Ceph / OVS etc ) and experience in hybrid cloud governance & automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experienced in building CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies like Blue-Green, Rolling, and Canary, deployment version management and tools like Jira, Git, and Jenkins
• Disaster recovery, backup recovery and networking, Architecture background, Documenting on our strategy.
• 80% hands on and the rest on strategy.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Private Cloud industry certifications (Open Stack / VMware ) preferred in alignment with the top requirements or any virtualization certification is preferred.
• Public Cloud industry certifications preferred in alignment with the top requirements.
