Consultancy Needed - MNCHN Senior Technical Advisor

Background
Objectives
- To support in the upcoming USAID MCH Flagship proposal development with the close coordination with Save the Children Indonesia and SCUS
- To support in growing the MNCH+N technical portfolio, lead positioning at national level, and support national office teams to position for new opportunities.
- To support in developing the strategic plan, work plan, and impact document of SC IDN 2025-2027 Country Strategic Plan for Strategic Goal 1 Safe and Healthy Generation Milestone achievement.
- Lead external engagement and strengthen MNCH+N networks for program growth and thought leadership.
- As a main focal point to liaise and strengthen our partnership with MOH, organization profession and health nutrition association
- Provide technical assistance, best practices, and strategic expertise for maternal newborn child health and nutrition, reproductive health, and integrated health services.
- Supports Save the Children’s reputation in technical area by participating in external advisory or working groups, representing Save the Children in national technical meetings and committees.
- Experience with USAID-funded reproductive health projects and/or other donor funded projects.
- Specialty area within maternal, child health and nutrition programming in one (or more) of the following areas: clinical capacity-building, quality improvement strategies (including use of programmatic data for decision-making), clinical mentorship, team-based training, simulation training, introduction and scale of evidence-based interventions in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, newborn and child care.
- Experience with new business development, including writing and reviewing proposals and contributing to technical design.
- Experience representing organization(s) in key global and regional technical meetings and committees.
- Experience assisting health systems to adapt, adopt, and scale the application of global perinatal guidelines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation also facilitating skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication, collaboration, problem solving, negotiation, advocacy skills, also ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Self-motivated and highly flexible individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities, also working under pressure.
- Proven capacity and willingness to be highly flexible and accommodating in difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances.
- Commitment to and understanding of Save The Children’s aims, values, and principles, including rights-based approaches.
