Administrative Assistant

Our client is one of Ireland’s largest and most successful ICT solutions and services providers. They have been at the forefront of technology innovation in Ireland for forty years. Based in Dublin 22 - Robinhood is welcoming applications for the position of Assistant within their team.
2 years of previous experience in Sales admin and supply chain is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support/ admin all aspects of the Purchasing department.
- Maintaining and developing vendor relationships
- Providing internal quotations
- Purchase order processing.
- Completing all Monthly reports (external & internal)
- Supporting the accounts department with any relevant queries
- Liaise with sales, customer services, support etc. to close any customer related queries.
- Maintain all PO’s, updating due dates. Etc.
- Creation and maintenance of stock codes.
- Stock management.
- Liaise with Sales department regarding customer returns.
- Managing returns area – checking in returns, raising with suppliers, ensuring timely returns to suppliers, following through until credit is received.
- Logging warehouse/goods in delivery errors.
- To proactively and constructively work with colleagues across all other departments
- To demonstrate commercial awareness in undertaking of all duties
- To consider the business impact of all actions
- To be flexible to undertake such other duties that may be required as the business deems necessary.
- To drive personal learning and development with the support of the purchasing and sales teams.
- To support colleagues in the achievement of goals.
– Processing sales orders, answering all customer queries received via phone and email. Sales admin, including, adding, removing & updating products. Booking in customer orders, working closely with Sales team to resolve any customer related queries.
Qualifications:
- Leaving certificate
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite, such as Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
- Previous experience in customer service or administration role preferable. Background in retail is an advantage.
- Polite telephone manner
- Customer focused.
- Strong administrative skills
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn – full training will be provided.
- Logical approach to problem solving
- Strong commercial awareness
- Professional and engaging customer approach
- Ability to work on own initiative but with a team focus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €26,000.00 per year
