Agency Chef de Partie ( various locations-ireland)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking skilled and versatile Chef de Parties to join our team of agency chefs. As an Agency Chef de Partie, you will have the opportunity to work in various kitchens, catering companies, and establishments on a temporary basis. This role offers flexibility, exposure to different culinary environments, and the chance to showcase your culinary skills and creativity.
Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef or Sous Chef in the preparation and execution of menu items according to established recipes and guidelines.

• Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth operation and timely delivery of dishes.

• Prepare ingredients, including cleaning, cutting, and portioning, to support efficient cooking processes.

• Cook and plate dishes with precision, paying attention to presentation, flavor, and quality.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to adapt to different kitchen settings and menus, while maintaining consistency and excellence.

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workstation.

• Support and guide junior kitchen staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients, promoting a positive and professional work atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or relevant role in professional kitchens.

• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.

• Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare and present a variety of dishes.

• Adaptability and resilience to work in different kitchen environments and handle varying menus and requirements.

• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and adapt to different teams.

• Flexibility to work in various locations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Relevant culinary certifications or qualifications are desirable.
