Location- Dublin
Total Hours Per Week:40 Hours
Days Per Week :4 DAYS
Shift Pattern : 7:00am to 5pm
Qualification Required: Hygiene Training and basic chefs training.
Contract Type: Specified Purpose -Long term Sickness Cover
Experience Required:

• Must have full legal rights to work in the country. Evidence will be required.
• Previous Chef experience .
• Ideally experience in a similar hospital/care home environment, 4/5 years chef experience.

Job Dimensions:
1 Practical

• Greet and Feed staff/ guests/residents in a polite and friendly manner
• Cooking by the menu and
• Cleaning of the kitchen after use and maintain a clean kitchen
• Food orders as per menu
• Work with the menus together with manager on duty
• Handle deliveries according to procedures

2 Customer Relations

• Encourage good relations with all colleagues on site
• Promptly deal with any queries or complaints from manager

3 Training

• Partake in basic induction training for new staff
• Partake in ongoing training from supervisor
• Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
