Role Description:
Please note this is a 6 month fixed-term contract position.
The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for HR administrative duties, managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, and ensuring a smooth and consistent Performance Development Review (PDR) process. You will act as the backbone of our HR function, providing essential support and ensuring that HR operations run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems, process employee documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with data protection laws. Handle general HR inquiries, support payroll processing, and assist with policy updates.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate the full onboarding process for new hires, including preparing contracts, conducting new employee orientations, and setting up employee accounts. Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation.
  • Performance Development Review (PDR) Process: Oversee the administration of the PDR cycle, ensuring all employees complete regular performance reviews on schedule. Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, feedback, and development plans. Track and report on PDR completion and outcomes.
  • Employee Relations & Support: Act as a point of contact for employees, answering questions related to HR policies, benefits, and the PDR process. Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive working culture.
  • Policy Compliance & Documentation: Ensure HR policies are consistently applied and comply with labour laws. Assist with drafting, updating, and communicating policies and procedures. Maintain employee handbooks and other HR documentation.
  • HR Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and maintain HR-related reports.
Essential Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on administration, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and best practices.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English appreciated.
Education/Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Full Driving License
  • Willing and able to travel as required
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
