Join our fabulous team at the Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, as a Reservations Agent.
We are currently seeking a Reservation Agent to join the team at Farnham Estate. We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy working on their own initiative and as part of a team. The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling & processing all aspects of individual , group room and resort houses reservations ,including but not limited to: Placing reservations, processing payments, and confirming arrangements. Agents need to have a pleasant phone voice and a professional but friendly attitude.

Role/Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, monitoring and responding to emails and on line bookings, assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions
- Ensure the reservations being entered into the PMS system are in the correct format
- Communicate information to other departments with information that pertains to them
- Check arrival lists and double check that all special requests are followed up correctly Follow up on reservation traces, entering group rooming lists
- Work closely with the Sales team to help identify leads and convert leads to confirmed bookings
- Liaise with the Revenue Manager to maximise room revenue. Assist with daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting
- Promoting and up selling the estate facilities and amenities
Requirements
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Ensuring to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Have an excellent level of computer literacy specifically Microsoft Office Suite, Opera would be an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
