Job Title: Resource Teacher
Permanent, Part-time 20 hours per week
Location: Bantry, Co. Cork

About the Role:
The Resource Teacher works as part of a team to support Service Users with remedial education, focusing on areas like literacy and numeracy. The role also includes providing basic computer training when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A teaching degree, Higher Diploma (H Dip), or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Education, with registration with the Teaching Council.
• Experience in providing literacy and/or numeracy training.
• Experience working with people with different abilities.
• Strong IT skills required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide basic remedial and compensatory education to meet the individual needs of each service user.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify service user needs and plan personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Teach and train service users based on their Individual Action Plan, with support from the Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of service user progress and meet certification requirements, producing reports when needed.
• Keep all teaching materials and equipment up to date and of high quality.

• Build external relationships

If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign.
Salary: Starting at €35650 per annum pro-rata, equivalent to €22.85 per hour.
