Sr. Associate - Training

Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.

Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of the Human Resources team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site.

The Sr. Associate - Training is responsible for assisting in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the site training system, for providing training support associated with the Training system and also for supporting the creation, co-ordination, and implementation of learning solutions across the business areas while assisting the area maintain qualification compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Documentation Support
  • Involved in the set up and roll out of the Corporate Training Management System for the Limerick Site.
  • Involved in the design, development and management of training materials, curricula, and learning plans for the Limerick Site.
  • Assist in the creation and management of Site procedures in accordance with site Training SOP.
  • Work with other GMP system owners/administrators on the interfaces with the training administration system (e.g. SOP system).
  • Perform activities to manage:
  • Curriculum creation and maintenance.
  • Learning Plan management.
  • Qualification management.
  • Individual training history maintenance.
  • Produce reports from Learning Management System.
  • Ad hoc reports requested by individual learners, leaders and others.
  • Routine reports for periodic reporting.
  • Training compliance.
  • Support training qualification compliance management.

Business Support
  • Ensure the business training needs are identified and addressed.
  • Troubleshooting potential training problems.
  • Reviewing key gaps/metrics and coordinating gap closure.
  • Provide general assistance with the scheduling and organizing of training courses.
  • Support the business in the determination of need for training initiatives and developing a plan for meeting those needs.
  • Develop and implement training initiatives in alignment with current and anticipated business needs.
  • Track and report site training metrics routinely.

Training Processes/Systems Monitoring
  • Assist with the implementation of new training initiatives which may include process improvement projects and new products introduction etc.

Additionally:
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and training database administration.
  • Familiarity with c GMPs requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills - ability to handle/prioritise multiple projects and requests.
  • Experience with Success Factors or a similar Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
  • Hons Degree in a relevant discipline, ideally holding a Learning and Development certification / qualification
  • 3+ years relevant experience (in line with the above)

Note: The role will require the successful applicant to be onsite for 5 days per week for a period of time with the potential to move to a hybrid model (1 to 2 days remote per week maximum) pending agreement with your supervisor.
