The Supply Planner will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supply plans to meet customer demand and minimise stockouts.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products.
- Analyse demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly to meet changing customer needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to prevent disruptions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues.
- Implement and maintain supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in supply planning within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
