The opportunity
The Head of Security at TAPI is the most senior security position within the organization, with global responsibility for the protection of employees, assets, and information (in collaboration with IT). This role requires close engagement with senior management and business leaders to understand risks to the business and ensure operational resilience in the face of both known and unknown security threats.
How you’ll spend your day
- Lead the development/adaptation and implementation of strategies, policies, and programs to safeguard people, sites, and assets to address specific business needs.
- Identify and assess emerging security risks across TAPI.
- The individual will set direction and guide the site security personnel (in Facility Management).
- Initially, this role will operate as a single-function position, with the potential to grow to include a subordinate.
- Define key areas of focus for TAPI’s security strategy.
- Recognize and respond to various security threats that could affect TAPI. Provide strategic oversight of security processes and systems to ensure they meet both operational requirements and align with broader corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, programs, and policies to mitigate security threats.
- Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with senior site managers, TAPI’s LT, and facility leaders, sites security to gather feedback, understand risks, and deliver effective security solutions.

Ensure alignment between corporate security, facilities, sites security, and business functions to achieve cohesive security goals.
Your experience and qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in the security industry, including 5+ years in a mid-to-large global industrial company
- Experience in risk assessment, policy, procedure development and implementation of strategies across all security domains
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams
