Achievement Behavior Care Services is an applied behavior analytics (ABA) service agency that works to provide home-based behavioral support services for students and families across Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, and the Bronx. We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making an impact on children with autism and their families. Our Behavior Technicians (BTs) are a part of a network of caring professionals who are invested in helping each other towards being successful in this mission. All of our services are supervised under the guidance of one of our many esteemed Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA).
Paraprofessionals, Behavior Intervention Specilists, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, and Special Education Professionals are welcome!
**ABA EXPERIENCE IS REQURIED**
**RBT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR SOME CASES, BUT NOT ALL** Training and supervision towards the certifiation is available.
Schedule: Part Time Weekdays - AFTER SCHOOL HOURS & occasional Weekend Availability.
Job Responsibilities:
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home, and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Stakeholder communication between the client, the family, the BCBA, and ABS Admin
- Professional development and ongoing supervision in the emerging field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) working with individuals on the autistic spectrum.
- Further Certifications and Supervision hours for prospective BCBAs and RBTs
- A flexible, part-time schedule, many times near your home
- A rewarding experience helping children and families reach their full potential
- Study patient behavior and apply ABA principles
- Respond appropriately to different situations common among Autism patients and others with behavioral and developmental challenges
- Utilize key communication skills to provide effective feedback to patients
- Effectively communicate positive feedback to patients
- Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in patient behaviors.
- Become familiar with and use behavioral redirection techniques
- Know how to respond to negative behaviors appropriately
- Provide written documentation on each patient.
- High School diploma required for entry-level positions
- Strong communication skills required.
- Ability to work under high-stress situations.
- Exhibits significant reliable habits, including timeliness and organizational skills.
- Proven experience working with pre-school and elementary school-aged children.
- Additional evidence of successful work with patients suffering from Autism and development issues.
- Other experience, certificates, or qualifications as required by state.
- Multilingual is a PLUS
