We are looking for an engaged Operations Specialist who could join our Integrated Logistics team in Contern, Luxemburg.

Your Role

The Operations Specialist is a key team member in the Logistics Control Centre in Contern, Luxembourg. They ensure the daily execution of services, maintaining a high level of performance across areas such as Order Fulfilment, Transport Management, Freight Settlement, and Request/Deviation Management, in line with customer agreements. The role involves frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for services within scope.
• Coordinate transport services and handle special requests.
• Select transport modes and providers for on-time delivery.
• Manage manual order entries, cost allocations, and standard reports.
• Handle pick-up notifications and stakeholder requests.
• Monitor events and manage deviations, proposing corrective actions.
• Escalate operational issues to management when necessary.
• Respond to proof of delivery requests.
• Collaborate with teams and departments to ensure quality service.
• Support freight settlement and process implementation.
• Address system issues affecting service delivery.
• Provide input for quality reviews and participate in relevant meetings.
• Take ownership of tasks, meeting performance expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
• Adhere to K+N guidelines, SOPs, and BPM structures.

Your Skills and Experiences

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics or customer service, or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of at least one transport mode (Road, Sea, or Air).
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to execute new processes.
• Interest in working with transport management systems and statistical data.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle time-critical tasks.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Adhere to KN Behaviours and company standards.
• Fluent in English and German (additional languages a plus).
• Strong focus on customer quality standards (QSHE, GXP).
• Understand and comply with confidentiality and company regulations (Code of Conduct).
