Food and Beverage Manager

Overview
Our client is a renowned Food and Beverage manufacturer dedicated to delivering the highest standard of bakery products. They offer a wide range of frozen cakes, pastries and patisseries to a diverse clientele including cafes, hotels and F&B chains. With a team of skilled bakers and a strong commitment to quality, safety and timely delivery, their reputation has enabled them to expand their reach across the Asia-Pacific region.
Due to business expansion, they are seeking a Factory Manager for their new factory based in Shah Alam. This role will be crucial in ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and driving the continued growth of the company.
Remuneration
RM 9,000 to RM 14,000 based on work experience
Responsibilities

Oversee production scheduling, allocate necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) and ensure timely and efficient completion of daily production tasks
Maximize the use of all resources including local and foreign workers by organizing daily operations, conducting objective assessments and implementing strategies to improve efficiency
Ensure all production processes align with GMP, HACCP, HALAL and ISO standards and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and food hygiene standards to create a safe working environment
Monitor all factors affecting product quality, take corrective actions and implement preventive measures
Assess capacity needs, develop staffing plans and work closely with HR to hire, train and supervise production employees to foster a culture of excellence and growth

Requirements

Degree in production management, quality management, logistics management, industrial engineering, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a food manufacturing company focused on production planning, equipment management or similar positions
Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills with proficiency in ISO9001, ISO14001, GMPC and 6S with expertise in production planning and on-site management
Ability to work independently, handle pressure and guide teams to improve factory operations and take on additional work hours when needed
Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 an advantage

Bukit Bintang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
