M365 Support Engineer- Messaging

Job Type- Permanent with Client
Role Purpose:
  • Provide support for Exchange Online, Exchange On-premises, Intune, Microsoft Teams, Power Bi, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Shell
  • Configure/analyze EOP policies for mail flow/security issues.
  • Able to manage Exchange hybrid platform, extract logs and troubleshoot issues
  • Knowledge in general BAU (business as usual) support in configuring/troubleshooting Outlook client issues, mail routing issues.
  • Knowledge in Power Shell script to manage BAU support
Key Accountabilities
Performance measures / End Result
  • Manage Messaging Infrastructure
  • Manage Exchange infra - on premises, and exchange online
  • Manage SMTP queue database, identify issues in mail routing from/to specific sender/recipients
  • Reporting, automation and coordination
  • Ensure all reporting, daily, weekly & monthly are provided within the agreed window.
  • Process automation
  • Coordinate within various team in regional technology, business units and vendor for any new projects and initiative
  • Establish and maintain Exchange Rules and EOP policies, Messaging standards and integrity.
  • To ensure Messaging infrastructure aligned to regional security baseline and standards.
  • Production Support
  • Support for BAU related to user issues as well as server related
  • To ensure all tickets and requests are attended and closed within the agreed SLA
  • Ensure Exchange servers patching is completed as per Regional patch advisory
  • Create reports, monitoring and documentation for the Messaging environment.
  • Refine/update current documentation on Messaging SOPs.
  • Providing standby support after office hours to troubleshoot any system or database issues and liaise with the respective teams or vendor.
  • To provide support after office hours

  • Taking active role in regional & business driven for all LBUs supported.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science/IT or a related discipline.
  • A minimum 5+ years’ experience working on Messaging technologies like Exchange Servers, Exchange Online, Teams, O365 suite of products
  • Skills on Azure cloud
  • Strong knowledge in scripting (Power Shell).
  • Strong knowledge in Messaging infrastructure security and compliance.
  • Good team player with relationship building skills, problem solving and decision making.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks with shifting priorities. Willing to provide 24x7 support.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
Schedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
